"My experience exploring Mindfulness with Emma has been such a wonderful, eye opening and life changing experience. One thing that I felt I really needed support with was 'Hangxiety', a deep feeling of dread after letting my hair down and having a few well-deserved drinks. This feeling would be so tough to go through, and I wondered if I should just never drink again as the aftermath was just too much emotionally and physically.
I decided to go ahead and open up to what Mindfulness might be able to offer. Each week Emma would guide me on a different topic and we would look at different ways to notice my body's unique way of processing and ways to tap into the wider world around. There would be homework, and meditations and every week would unveil different things to me. I began to view life through an entirely different lense, also my relationship with myself began to change as Emma helped me to see my limiting beliefs and familiar patterns I'd tread for so long, it was lots of fun treading new ones and seeing how much freedom and play we have in this life and how easy it is to trick ourselves into thinking we don't have choices."
